Volha (Olga) Hirynskaya is an attorney at Kublan Kan PLC. She graduated from William & Mary School of Law, Williamsburg, Virginia in 2015 and she has been admitted to practice law in the District of Columbia since 2016. Ms. Hirynskaya obtained her first law degree in Minsk, Belarus where she graduated from the Belarussian State University in 1998.
During her law practice in Belarus, Ms. Hirynskaya was engaged in all aspects of criminal defense, including successfully representing her clients in court. In addition, Ms. Hirynskaya represented clients in connection with divorce, child support and child custody, products liability, and personal injury matters.
After she was admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Ms. Hirynskaya has been primarily concentrating on immigration law. Her areas of expertise, among other things, include representation of clients in connection with immigration matters related to application for asylum and withholding of removal, fiancé petitions, petitions for alien relatives, adjustments of status, consular processing, immigration waivers, and naturalization. Ms. Hirynskaya is also well-versed in other types of immigration matters, such as visas for religious workers, VAWA petitions, visas for foreign athletes, and for individuals who possess extraordinary ability in arts, education, and business. Ms. Hirynskaya has also successfully assisted clientes with obtaining a special immigrant juvenile status and U visas.
In addition, Mrs. Hirynskaya regularly represents clients in immigration courts where she effectively defends them from removal from the United States.
Ms. Hirynskaya lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and teenage son. During her free time, Ms. Hirynskaya enjoys reading modern classic literature, traveling, and cooking for her family and friends. She is fluent in Russian language.
