Mr. Kublan has my absolute highest rating, this time on my divorce. I have no spousal support payments, no payments in arrears (I stopped paying support 6 months ago), no health insurance payments, no retirement benefits sharing, no social security benefits sharing, and in fact, no past or future payments or financial obligations of any kind at all!!!

After telling my immigrant wife I wanted a divorce, she attempted to defraud me by falsely having me arrested for assault and battery (on the basis of an unwanted touch, which is assault and battery in the State of Virginia). I was innocent but the first lawyers I had gave me bad advice and so the Judge thought I was guilty. I was not found guilty but there was sufficient evidence for a finding of guilt. Consequently, I was offered the first offender's deal (after 2 years the case could be dismissed) which I accepted on the advice of my lawyers. I was dissatisfied with the deal because I knew I was innocent, so I changed lawyers and hired Mr. Kublan to appeal my case. This was very risky because the first step was to ask be found guilty so I could appeal. My wife is a very good liar, but through the deposition process and the extremely insightful questions that Mr. Kublan asked, he was able to gain enough evidence to prove her lies in court. As an example, in my first trial, my wife alleged that I raped her on the night I allegedly assaulted and battered her. During my appeal trial, Mr. Kublan skillfully asked many very detailed questions that my wife could not answer and she finally admitted in court, in front of the jury, that there was no sexual contact that evening! This was nothing less than OUTSTANDING performance on the part of Mr. Kublan!!! Mr. Kublan was able to document at least 7 or 8 other instances where she lied about the facts. In the end, the jury found me NOT GUILTY of the charge of assault and battery of a family member. I cannot express how elated I am with his brilliant performance inside and outside the courtroom. It was his expert knowledge of the right questions to ask, when to ask them, and how to use the legal processes and procedures available to him in order to achieve the desired results. Mr. Kublan is extremely knowledgeable in the areas of Divorce, Criminal, and Immigration law and I give him my absolute highest recommendation.

I usually don’t take the time to post stuff like this but upon reflecting on my experience with Andrei Kublan and his firm I felt it necessary. Divorce is not a pretty thing and having an attorney represent you that understands that and cares was very important to me? Mr.Kublan’s knowledge of divorce law was only surpassed by his genuine and sincere people skills. I was warned by many about lawyers who drags things on and pad their bills. During a divorce, many lawyers are quick to exploit your emotions with unnecessary work that only increases their bills. Not Andrei Kublan, he is a calming voice of rational thought, and only escalates matters if/when they are needed. I would call very upset and, rather than suggest crazy legal action, he would help put my concerns at ease and keep me focused on what’s really important. In the end, I received a better settlement that I had hoped for, I am so thankful. You won’t find a more capable, ethical, and hard-working lawyer out there. On multiple occasions, Mr.Kublan's calm and steady demeanor helped dissolve very tense situations. He could, however, jump on very aggressively when necessary. Mr.Kublan was always very conscious of what my costs were. We would have upfront discussions about the risks and costs of each strategy. At no time did I feel like he pushed a direction that wasn’t solely in my best interes. He really cares, and takes care of his clients before, during and after the divorce. He is not only a great attorney, but he is also a beautiful human being; hard to come by in this field. I remember choosing him for his compassion and reputation. It was a heart wrenching life experience and I needed someone I could trust that would consider my family, circumstances, feelings and take care of me, and that other attorneys and judges respect.
